Caryn Brown’s colored glass column earrings are the result of a multistep process. Initially strips of colored glass are arranged on edge and then melted together in a pleasing pattern. The resulting block of multicolored glass is then sawed into narrow strips and then sawed again so that each strip is about 1 ½” in length. These small glass columns are sent back into the kiln for a final fire polish.
While they are durable, remember that these earrings are glass and may break if dropped onto a hard surface.
