Many local objects and scenes act as elements in a view to Ponder, the title of the artwork. One aspect of the artwork is the suggested timeline from the rocky beginning of our planet, through life (crinoid and bone fossils), the industrial revolution (bolt), to today's digital world (evidenced by the battery). The viewer is invited to make personal sense or have a feeling in putting these and the other objects together.
